This is an annual even that happens during Golden week. It's the japan's way to celebrate children. It was really cool attending it, I have never seen this kind of boats until we moved here and until this race I have never seen them run. Two of my dear friends were in it and did very well. The Air force boat came in second at a 6.14 time of which the Navy team beat them by .4 seconds. Crazy hu?
